         Forestry Alumni Association - FORAL, a non-profit voluntary organisation formed by the alumnus of Forestry College at Ponnampet was established in the year 2008 & got registered in 2010 under Karnataka Societies Registration Act,1960.

         FORAL has created a platform for forestry graduates and persons working in the line for Re-unions, discussions on development in Forestry sector. FORAL is not only functioning as an alumni group but has moved on to be a professional organisation to provide a platform for the advancement in the professional interests of its members and promote growth and development of Forestry, Agriculture and allied sciences in general. 

          FORAL has organised workshops & seminars, conducted scientific research and is providing consultancy in the field of Forest Ecology, Conservation, value addition, Carbon assessment and sustainability studies. FORAL is looking forward to work on certifications in the forestry sector.
