The event will be celebrated on 8th November 2014 at UASB Alumni Building, Hebbal, Bangalore.
The highlights of the event are as follows

Felicitation of our former Retd. HoD, DI, Deans, Faculty Members.

Introductory Talk by eminent personalities from different sector.

Discussion on Forestry Education by eminent personalities, Forestry Graduates, policy makers, etc.,

Preparation of a policy document on the future of Forestry Education and submit the same to the Govt of Karnataka.
followed by a Get together of FORICOS.
The rich experience of our alumni would be of highly useful in giving proper direction to the future of Forestry Research and Education, and the proposed workshop will also help FORAL to act as an responsible organisation.
This event would be an effective get-together of Forestry Graduates ever since its inception and mark an important milestone in our journey.

SILFEST 2013
CELEBRATION OF 25 YEARS OF FORESTRY EDUCATION
The event in commemoration to celebrate the 25 years of Forestry Education was organised at Ponnampet Campus of College of Forestry, Ponnampet.
The function was started with College Day which was wholly sponsored by Forestry Alumni Association as a tribute to its alma matter followed by the 25 years Celebration by FORAL with 150 alumnus revisiting the campus to show their support to their alma matter.
It was a one day event with M. C. Nanaiah as chief Guest presided by Dr. Salimath, Special Officer, UAHS, Dr. Bhaskar V, Former Head of Forestry, UAS B, Dr. N A Prakash, Dean, CoF, Ponnampet, Mr. Ravikumar A, President, FORAL, Mr. Prakash M Kanive, Secretary, FORAL.
The event started with Inauguration, Prayer, Watering the plant and as follows:

Felicitation and sharing of experiences for/by all retired Teaching / Non-Teaching faculty members who served in both the campus.

Release of Souvenir on the mark of 25 years of Forestry education

Cultural program by Spandana Team of College of Forestry.

Interaction meet with the students.

Fellowship Night.
